Pastor Bob Cheryl and Bob Hargrave Celebration Church is a
warm and
caring group of people who make guests, as well
as
seasoned attenders, happy to worship with us and to be challenged by
God’s
Word as it
is proclaimed in our services. We are an
old yet still a new church. One will feel
the sense of a traditional church in the building but will also sense
the newness
of
worship styles and technologies. It’s
really the best of both worlds!
I have
pastored the people of this church since the early 90s.
I
have brought us all to a contemporary style of “doing
church” while
not ignoring the tried and true traditions of communion, baptism and a
refreshing atmosphere of praise and worship of our awesome and ever
present
God. I might show
up on a Sunday morning in a more traditional shirt and tie, but mostly
I’m a
Dockers and informal shirt kind of a guy. Some
still dress more formally however most are
comfortable in my style
of dress or even shorts. We are a
relaxed congregation that loves to sing and praise Jesus, loves to pray
about
people’s needs and loves to search God’s Word for insight for today’s
life. YOU are welcome to join us as we
do what we love to do! My
“story”
includes a clear conversion to faith in Christ while serving in the US
Army. I “grew up” as a believer in a
strong, lay-led group of Christians in
